The location was perfect for exploring the old city, and the hotel itself was in an old factory, adding to its charm. The staff were friendly and the service was impeccable. The room I stayed in even had its own kitchen, which was a pleasant surprise. The hardwood floors added to the cozy atmosphere, making it feel like a traditional Norwegian wooden hut. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a good variety of options.
All was well, no improvement necessary.

This hotel is a hidden gem right in the historic district of a charming old city. The location couldn't be better - it's in the heart of the old city center, surrounded by beautiful old buildings. The staff are attentive and the service is top-notch. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, with hardwood floors and a mini kitchen for added convenience. And the breakfast is simply delicious, with a great selection of local produce.
The only small issue I had was with the ventilation in the room.

The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food and the location was conveniently close to local attractions. the room had a nice view of the surrounding area and the bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep.
The staff seemed understaffed and lacked attention to detail in cleaning and restocking amenities. the bathroom was cramped and had a leaky faucet.

The attention to detail in the rooms with hardwood floors and a little balcony was impressive. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast, with locally made cheeses and other delicious options, was a great start to the day.
All aspects of this hotel were excellent, nothing to improve.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town center and attractions. Food in the restaurant was delicious and presented very nicely. We enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere in the hotel and in the town. However, the room was not as advertised, with a modern design instead of the cozy wooden rooms we were expecting. The lack of insulation made the room noisy and the heating was insufficient, making the room too cold.

The staff were cute, helpful, and competent. Plus, it's centrally located within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.
Didn't dislike anything about the hotel or the city.
